Living Well Together

Living Well Together Conference

Event: Living Well Together

Date: Tuesday 8th December 2015

Venue: Church House Conference Centre

Attendees: Yusuf Ansari, Mohammed Omer, Mohammed Sabat and Usama Karatella

Student Experience:

We were invited to attend a conference where many esteemed guests were present including Lord Nash, the minister for faith schools. We had the opportunity to engage in dialogue with various scholars of all faiths in regards to finding a way to live well together in today’s society. Despite being the youngest attendees present, we articulated ourselves in such a manner, that we were able to advocate our viewpoints in front of all the guests, and were regarded as the highlight of the event. We had such a positive impact on the conference, that we received a formal letter from the host, Nigel Genders, praising our constructive contributions and stating that he was thrilled by our presence on the day, as our presence was conducive to finding a way to live well together in society.
