ICT Support

Dear Colleague,

I pray you’re well.

The Federation along with many other schools and organisations nationally have been targeted electronically. This has resulted in the network being encrypted and as a result currently we are unable to access all of our school systems. NO DATA including sensitive data has been removed or breached.

As a Federation, we take regular archived backups of our systems and data held within them. We are working with specialists from the Local Authority to restore and reboot our systems in a timely manner. This includes retrieving drives, reactivating emails etc. Rest assured, whilst there has and will be some administrative disruption; with your support we will nevertheless maintain day to day school provision and comply with the requirements of the GDPR.

- Please continue to use paper registers
- From tomorrow the ICT team will log in to your pc’s on your behalf for basic access
- Setup your email accounts this week as soon as practically possible to send and receive emails
- All other systems such as parent pay, catering systems and others will be realigned on a needs basis.
- If you have any URGENT emails you are waiting for or may have missed please let Bilal know.

Thank you for your continued support, and patience.

Regards/ Ws

BBC News School Report

bbc news

Well done for reporting with the BBC!

To all our School Reporters and to all of you, the teachers who made News Day 2018 happen – well done and thank you!

Around 25,000 young people were making the news recently across England, Northern Ireland, Scotland and Wales – what a news team!

Here at Madani we had 8 students that took part reporting on a range of topics which our students thought were important aspects of the makeup of our school. Issues such as mental health, Women’s rights, charity and celebrating the importance of reading.

The girls have worked extremely hard during the school day, in their recreational time and afterschool. We certainly had lots of fun creating, editing and laughing uncontrollably in earlier takes! Check out the end result by clicking below.
