Pupil Premium

The aim of the Government's Pupil Premium is to raise achievement among disadvantaged pupils. It will provide additional funding to ensure these pupils benefit from the same educational opportunities as pupils from wealthier families.

The criteria for pupils to receive extra support from the pupil premium is that a pupil must be currently in receipt of free school meals or have been in receipt of free school meals in the past six years. The school determines how this funding is used in school to meet the needs of vulnerable pupils.
