Monday 23rd August.

Students start to return to school this week beginning with the new year 7’s and followed by other year groups daily. Based on the current Government guidance, Students will return to school in a phased manner as outlined in the diagram for at least the first week to ensure that we can test all students who have provided consent. 

Students should arrive from 8.05am on their allocated first day and 10.20 thereafter in their full uniform and bring with them their normal A-Z equipment and their PE kit on days they are scheduled Physical Education. 

ALL students will return to school on Tuesday 31st August (Bank Holiday Monday 30th August). As testing will continue into the following week. Some lessons will continue to be impacted as eligible students are withdrawn, but we will minimise the impact.

Headteacher's Welcome

Welcome to the Madani Schools Federation

It is a pleasure to welcome you to our website. Madani welcomes pupils of all faiths and denominations from Year 7-11. The federation caters for 300 Boys and 300 Girls in two separate schools but share the same site. We are currently two very successful schools and are both categorised by OFSTED as GOOD.

The Madani Boys School was one of the first schools in the city to come out of requires improvement and become a good school under the new Ofsted framework in January 2016 and is the best attended school in the city with an attendance of 97%.

The Madani Girls School has also received a number of accolades for their performance over the past three years from the DFE and are in the top 100 non-selective schools in the country for showing progress from primary to the end of their time with us and are also in the top 100 non-selective schools in the country for showing the greatest sustained improvement over a three-year period, in 2015 we achieved 79% 5 A*-C including English and Maths. The personal development and welfare in both of our schools is OUTSTANDING.

Sending your child to us is a great honour and a trust that we take very seriously and it is enshrined in British common law, ‘In loco parentis’ is Latin for ‘instead of a parent’ and is the responsibility placed on us as teachers to ensure that the manner in which you care and look after your child at home is carried through when you choose to send your child to one of our schools. However, the success of your child stems from working together and it is important that we build a strong trust between us to support your child over the next five years.
